Maja Salvador is nominated for the “Most Photogenic Young Female Celebrity”. There are 27 young female celebrities nominated and Maja is on 5th place having 62 votes, while her best friend Kim Chiu is on 1st with 125 votes. Last year, Kim already won the title and now let's make Maja win!

The first round of voting will officially start today, August 27 and will end on September 24, 2011. The 12 female stars that will get the lowest votes will be eliminated and will not make advance to the next level of selection.

Movie director Paul Soriano, the boyfriend of actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga, has finally spoken regarding his rumored romance with “Thelma” star Maja Salvador.

In an interview with Push, Soriano admitted that working with Salvador did make their relationship closer than before. However, he clarified that his intention is purely professional, and not in any way romantic.

“I was just really motivating her. So yeah, the working relationship got close, I got to know a lot about her and her family. I got to meet her mom Thelma and her family, so in that regard yes we got close pero I look at her just like a little sister. Ganun lang talaga” he explained.

Paul said he is not really affected by the rumors. What really gets into him is the fact that this issue is starting to upset Maja.

“Hindi naman nakakapikon. Honestly, what I feel bad about is that Maja feels bad. She’s growing up, she’s still young and she doesn’t need that right now” he explained.

At the Presscon of the movie "Thelma" earlier this afternoon, August 24, Maja Salvador cried when asked about the rumors that she is flirting and stealing Toni Gonzaga's boyfriend, Paul Soriano, the director of the movie "Thelma".

"Ang masasabi ko lang po, sana puro positive na lang ang isusulat nila dito sa Thelma atsaka isa pa, malaki ang respeto ko kay Toni Gonzaga." she cries

"Di naman ako gumagawa ng pelikula para makipaglandian sa kung kanino mang kasama ko sa pagbuo ng pelikula" she added

And when the PEP.ph reporter asked her, what she feel about those endless intriguing "Siyempre po sa akin, masakit. Ang dami kasing intriga na ibinabato sa akin na parang hindi nauubusan. Parang halos lahat ng intriga nasa akin na"

Even though we didn't make "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" to trend on twitter, we did it on Yahoo! Philippines and make it to 1st and it's still 1st since 6:52pm PHT, while last August 18, Maja Salvador became 10th.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin management confirmed that there were foreign buyers of the soap opera and was to be translated to different foreign languages. 

It is slated to air in different foreign TV Channels, having the international title "I Will Only Love You Once".

Maja Salvador portrays the role of a runner in a Paul Soriano helmed independent film.

Maja is being trained by national track star and Survivor Philippines castaway Elma Muros and her husband Jojo Posadas for her role as a runner in the independent film “Thelma”. Elma will also play the role as coach in the movie.

Other cast-members of “Thelma” includes Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, Eliza Pineda, Sue Prado, and Jason Abalos.

Under the direction of Paul Soriano and distributed by Star Cinema, the film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on September 7, 2011.

Maja Salvador became 10th Trending Topic on Yahoo! Philippines earlier this afternoon, 2pm PHT in just 2 hours.

"Walang problema yun. Kahit sino, it's a free world, you know. Kahit sino walang problema," A very short answer when Matteo asked if Maja Salvador can still entertain suitors.

Matteo is part of noontime show Happy Yippee,Yehey (HYY) and My Binondo Girl na ipapalabas na sa August 24.
